Back to the Future - Title Sequence
The delorean car is a staple of the Back to the Future series. When deciding to create a new title sequence this car is where it first started. The goal was to create a new animation for the first back to the future that provided more detail into the famed time traveling vehicle while also checking all the boxes to be a legitimate title sequence.
The interior was fun to work with as there are not that many good reference photos to work from. This allowed for me to do some research through toys, fan re-makes, and even rewatching the movie.
The flux capacitor is almost just as famous as the car itself. Since this is so famous I wanted to make sure to highlight it with its own scene. Here we get a closer look on just what exactly is powering the time travel.
In one of the final scenes we get to see the back of the car featuring all the decorative and neon details. When designing this portion of the project it was so much fun to play with light and texture.
